Steps to creating a science project:

ü  Design an experiment and complete Forms 1, 1A & Research Plan, & 1B, and 3 at http://www.societyforscience.org/isef/document.

ü  Begin Project Data Book (use composition notebook).  Document project frequently.

ü  After approval (Adult Sponsor & possible committee) perform your experiment.

ü  Create PowerPoint presentation for class presentation.  Review research and prepare for oral presentation.

ü  Ask your teacher when the science project must be completed and ready for class presentation .

ü  Record your name & project title on the RUBRIC as your teacher will score your project on the rubric. 

ü  Submit the RUBRIC and completed forms to your teacher on the project due date.

ü  The best class projects will compete at the FPCHS Fall Science Fair on December 2, 2010

ü  The best fair projects will qualify for the Flagler County Science Fair on December 9, 2010 and may qualify for Tomoka Region Science Fair to be held January 2010.  All forms must be in good order.

Microbiology experiments can not be performed in the home-use school lab or industry lab (only exception may be yeast)
